EPR is proud to have been part of the team that brought Multimodal Norfolk to completion!  This recently completed plan represents a whole new approach to transportation planning in Virginia.  Building on the Multimodal System Planning approach that EPR’s Vlad Gavrilovic and Jessica Dimmick helped develop for DRPT, this plan uses a systems-based approach to integrate transit, bicycle, and pedestrian networks together with new approaches for managing the city’s curb spaces, capitalizing on technology and building a new Program of Projects for Norfolk based on considerations for equity, safety and connectivity.  EPR led a team that included acclaimed firms like Jarrett Walker + Associates, AECOM, WPA Architects, Connetics Transportation Group, and the Miles Agency and worked very closely with the City’s Transit Department for more than two years to complete this landmark project for Norfolk.
