BIO

Megan has over 15 years of experience leading sustainable development initiatives at federal agencies, nonprofit organizations, and a national association, and she has worked hand in hand with urban and rural communities across the country to support smart growth, locally-rooted economic revitalization, and disaster and climate resilience. Before joining EPR, Megan served in the Obama Administration at USDA Rural Development, where she provided strategic guidance on policy and program decisions, stakeholder relations, communications, and agency operations and management. Megan has also worked at EPA’s Office of Community Revitalization, where she delivered technical assistance to local governments and led the office’s equitable development program, and the National Association of Development Organizations, where she directed the disaster and economic resilience program. She currently provides community planning and policy advice, training, facilitation, program strategy and management, and grant writing services to nonprofit, federal agency, and local government clients.
