Don DeBerry offers more than 35 years of diverse experience across transportation engineering, project management, construction, and environmental services. His career spans key leadership roles in both government and consulting, including service as Deputy Director of Public Works and Transportation Engineer for the City of Lynchburg, Operations Manager for Lee County Department of Transportation, and various positions with the Florida Department of Transportation, such as Assistant Area Construction Engineer and Traffic Operations Engineer. In the consulting sector, Don has led the design and management of transportation, traffic operations, water resources, FEMA, and land development projects for both commercial and residential clients. His expertise covers the full project lifecycle—from NEPA documentation and design through right-of-way acquisition and construction—across a variety of delivery methods, including design-bid-build, design-build, public-private partnerships (P3), and construction manager at risk (CMAR) projects. Don’s broad technical knowledge and strategic approach make him a valuable asset to complex transportation initiatives.
