BIO

Matt Johnson, EIT, is a Transportation Project Engineer bringing a strong early-career track record in roadway and traffic design to support safe, efficient transportation systems. With two years of hands-on experience, Matt has contributed to roadway design and maintenance of traffic efforts and has developed a growing specialty in innovative intersection solutions, including RCUTs, thru-cuts, and roundabouts.

Before joining EPR, Matt advanced through multiple roles, building practical experience across roadway design assignments and project deliverables. His background also includes engineering internships spanning transportation, site/civil, and structural work, experience that helps him approach projects with a well-rounded understanding of constructability, coordination, and real-world field considerations.

Matt earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil & Infrastructure Engineering from George Mason University and is an Engineer in Training (EIT). He is proficient with industry tools such as MicroStation and is OSHA-10 certified. Passionate about designing efficient, data-driven transportation solutions, Matt is committed to improving safety and mobility for the communities EPR serves.
