EPR worked with the City of Lexington, as part of a team of planners and designers, to create a downtown masterplan that will guide policy decisions, streetscape designs, and multimodal mobility strategies into the future. EPR addressed the transportation and multimodal strategies and improvements and explored options for parking modifications, changes to the traffic flow, and streetscape features throughout the historical downtown business district. The public process garnered over 100 attendees for each of the first two meetings and over 60 attendees at the final meeting. Through effective and productive workshops the study team successfully reached consensus on a broad range of design and policy related topics.
