The Town of Irvington recently updated its comprehensive plan, focusing on preserving its historic charm, enhancing livability, and promoting sustainable development. EPR played a central role in shaping this plan, which positions Irvington for a prosperous future while preserving its distinctive character and heritage.

EPR facilitated robust public engagement throughout the planning process. We spearheaded a town survey with an exceptional response rate of nearly 90%, providing valuable insights into community priorities and concerns. This data was instrumental in shaping the plan’s strategies and initiatives. EPR also organized and moderated public meetings and stakeholder discussions, creating forums for residents, businesses, and community groups to contribute their perspectives and ideas.

In collaboration with local officials and stakeholders, EPR crafted strategies to foster community cohesion, enhance infrastructure, and preserve the town’s waterfront charm. Strategies include improving pedestrian and bicycle facilities, enhancing public spaces such as the Town Commons, and exploring alternatives for public sewer service. EPR’s comprehensive approach ensured that the updated plan not only reflects the aspirations of Irvington’s residents but also lays a foundation for sustainable growth and continued community vitality.”
